From Hwy 395, 10 miles south of Olancha, or 8 miles north of Coso Junction Rest Area, Turn west on road 20S02. Drive on this dirt road for 2 ½ miles to the trailhead. This is a non-quota, infrequently maintained trail. For more information, contact the Mt. Whitney Ranger Station (760) 876-6200
